I’m Jarom. I live in Colorado Springs, where I build custom software for a better tomorrow.

I’ve long had a knack for techie things. Often as a youth, I was the in-house IT help desk. However, this wasn’t my greatest passion. For a long time, I planned to be a classical musician performing and teaching. After a couple years into college, I decided I didn’t want music to be my primary career path. I took a few programming courses and discovered that I really liked solving problems through code.

While those programming courses taught the basics of web development, I knew I had to take matters into my own hands. I played around with some of the different PHP frameworks, eventually settling on Laravel. Then I played around with frameworks and libraries in the Javascript ecosystem. React became my goto choice, but I do enjoy working with Vue on occasion.
